As a member of the Snuneymuxw Nation (Nanaimo) Vancouver Island, I am also inspired by the rich cultural history of this region, and I seek to honor and preserve that history through my art. I also capture the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and Coast Salish territory, including its forests, rivers, and coastline, which are deeply intertwined with the culture and way of life of First Nation's people.
